Cinema Works Owners’ Society (SİNEBİR)
Founded under Article 42 of the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works No. 5846, SİNEBİR is the professional association authorized to protect the intellectual property rights of its members. Acting with the authority and responsibility granted by law, SİNEBİR safeguards its members against copyright infringements, takes the necessary legal actions, manages intellectual property procedures, and represents its members before public and private institutions.
Beyond its legal responsibilities, SİNEBİR plays an active role in fostering creativity and supporting the development of all productions in cinema and the arts. The association is committed to promoting the wider recognition of cinematic works, ensuring that creative works are used, viewed, and acquired with respect for both moral and economic rights, and raising public awareness of the importance of copyright. With its strong and effective structure, SİNEBİR serves as a leading organization dedicated to protecting creators and advancing the value of cinema in society.
