The General Assembly began with the election of Reis Çelik as chair of the Presiding Board and Semra Dündar and Günay Günaydın as secretaries, and continued with the reading of the Activity Report. Following an evaluation of the copyright work and Union activities carried out in the past period, the planned work for the coming period was discussed. At the meeting, where members took the floor to share their views and questions, our Board Chairman Tunç Davut and our Lawyer Eylem Akkayalı made statements and answered questions.

 

After the presentations, speeches, and Q&A, the General Assembly moved on to the proposed amendments and motions. Following a discussion of the planned amendments to the bylaws, the bylaw amendments were approved by a vote. Then, in order, the following were discussed: “Distribution and Documentation Directive,” “Member Discipline Directive,” “Solidarity and Mutual Aid Directive,” “Purchasing Directive,” “Establishment of a Federation in the Field of Copyright Holders,” “Establishment of a Federation in the Cinema Sector,” “Determination of the Amounts of Attendance Fees, Daily Allowances, and Travel Expenses to be Paid to Members Elected to the Higher Councils,” “Authorizing the Board of Directors to Establish and Operate Economic Enterprises,” and “Determination of the Membership Admission Fee and Annual Membership Dues.”

 

Following a break, elections were held and the new Board of Directors, other Boards, and Reserve Members were elected. The list of elected boards is presented below for your attention.
