As a result of our long-standing collaboration with the International Confederation of Authors and Composers Societies (CISAC), we are reaching a major milestone. CISAC has officially announced that the CTDLV (Technical Committee on Dramatic, Literary, and Audiovisual Works) meeting will be held in Istanbul on October 1-2, 2025, hosted by our Federation.

 

This important gathering will mark the beginning of a new era in the fight for film rights in Turkey. At this summit, where we will host all CISAC member professional associations representing film rights holders worldwide, we will take important steps both internationally and nationally:

 

✓ We will enter a new era in our domestic licensing processes with CISAC's support.

 

✓ We will strengthen our structure by taking our lobbying activities with the Ministry to the international arena.

 

✓ We will be able to move to the contract signing stage with all international professional associations with which we have not yet signed a contract.

 

The fact that this meeting is being held in Istanbul is a historic development that increases the visibility of cinema work owners in Turkey in the international arena in terms of copyright, and is a shared success of cinema work owners.
