The new Regulation on Supporting the Film Industry, which will facilitate the work of filmmakers and increase film production, has been published in the Official Gazette with amendments made after consulting with representatives of the film industry.
With the amendments made to the Regulation on Supporting the Film Industry after consulting with representatives of the film industry;
Supports now include payrolls, Social Security Institution premium payments, bank guarantee letter commission expense payments, and receipts related to premium payments for surety insurance contracts associated with surety bonds issued by insurance companies, private insurance policy expenses, and collection receipts issued by public institutions and organizations are now accepted as expense documents, expanding the range of documents that can be submitted for the expenses of supported films.
Restrictions on making support payments to those receiving multiple types of support have been lifted, and steps have been taken to empower producers.
The requirement that all documents be submitted to the Ministry in full by the last day of the announced application period has been introduced, giving the support committee members more time to evaluate applications.
The requirement for supported project owners to apply to the Ministry within 30 days has been removed, allowing them to sign contracts at any time within a year.
